Feeling a little nostalgic with childhood games you used to play? The game puts you in control of Butchukoy, a little boy out to play his most favorite game: Sipa, the Filipino street hacky sack.

Sipa, literally meaning "kick", is the Philippine version of the street hacky sack. The object of the Sipa game is to hit a shuttlecock with your feet and elbows for as long as you can. In the Philippines, players use washer with ribbons or scrap cloth.

The game puts you in control of Butchukoy, a little boy out to play Sipa throughout the streets of Manila. Earn points every time Butchukoy successfully hits the shuttlecock. Look out for litter on the streets because youll get extra points for picking them up, Youll be able to use these points to unlock other places in the Philippines so keep them coming!

Furthermore, what makes Sipa different from other games available today is the fact that there is more to it than just excitement and thrill. Sipa spells nationalism, culture, heritage, life lessons, and adrenalin-pumping gaming acts all rolled into one.

The goal of the creators of this game is to share and promote Filipino culture around the world. Part of the proceeds from this Sipa game will be given to non-profit
organizations, Mighty Minds and Filipino Matters. (www.MightyMinds.org , www.FilipinoMatters.org)

Team Butchukoy did a great job taking advantage of accelerometer which some of the popular games did not take advantage of. This feature made the game more challenging, more exciting. Cool! This is a breakthrough for Pinoy gaming development. Kudos to the developers! - The City Roamer

Love this game!
This reminds me of my childhood memories with my friends and the fun times we had playing sipa, marbles, teks, etc. The nostalgia Mabuhay ang Pinoy!
Cool, Funny and Addicting!
Finally a game to match Angry Birds excitement. Definitely for all ages. A must buy for all Filipinos.

Informative and very addictive game! Surely worth the price
Sipa; Hit or Miss!
Pinoy na pinoy ang art style ng game*; it really takes me back to my youth in the Philippines when I used to watch pinoy cartoons and read komiks ^.__ ^ Controls and game mechanics are very simple but I feel they need to be fine-tuned; especially the controls and the sensitivity of the areas of Butchukoys body that can hit the sipa... I feel sometimes I should have hit the sipa but instead its a miss. Sound design could be better, it sounds like they recorded the voice over very cheaply and theres not much variation. I do appreciate the inclusion of scoreboards and achievements via OpenFeint; it gives a sense of competition. Overall it could be better but for the price its okay just to be Pinoy and buy something Pinoy haha! Hopefully theres updates that make the game better later on and add more replay value. Until then, lets get some Sipa scores up there ^.__ ^ *The art style of the game is very Pinoy.
Awesome game
